The truth, what’s good and what’s not
The kids' pool is a true gem! with a pirate ship and fun slides, perfect for young adventurers. Staff in the kids' club are friendly, engaging kids with excellent activities!
Catering quality had its misses, some buffet options lacked variety. evening entertainment was occasionally repetitive, making for quieter nights than expected!

The one-bedroom apartment featured a great layout for families, with the convenience of proximity to the Hooky Royal Pool. The hotel boasts several large swimming pools, perfect for relaxing and enjoying some sun.
The bed setup of two twin beds instead of an actual double was a letdown, especially for couples looking for a little more comfort. Limited storage in the room meant we had to get creative with packing arrangements, and the bright bedroom lights were a nuisance during nighttime reading. the nearby area felt a bit like a tourist trap with overpriced dining options, limiting our exploration outside the resort. Encountered quite a few flies in the dining areas, which distracted from the otherwise delightful meals.

this hotel is great for families! the kids loved the pools, especially the one with slides and the huge play area called kikkoland. the food was really good, especially the fresh pasta at dinner—always a hit with the kiddos. the staff were super friendly and always remembered our names, making us feel very welcome. also, the easy access to the beach through a tunnel was really handy for family outings.
the air conditioning wasn't very strong, so it felt a bit sticky at night. also, some of the furniture in the room could be updated as it felt a bit cramped for 4 people.

The Royal Son Bou Family Club is beautifully maintained, with clean, spacious common areas. The easy access to the beach through a private tunnel allows for a stress-free experience, and the attentive staff genuinely make guests feel at home.
More wheelchair-friendly paths would be beneficial.

Had a grand time with me kids! The animation team was just mighty, full of activities! The beach was a stone's throw away too. Only downside, the air conditioning could have been cooler, made it a bit sticky at times.

A Perfect Family Getaway!
Our stay exceeded expectations! The kids' pool provided endless fun, while the kids' buffet was a delightful treat. A little stool by the bathroom sink would help toddlers reach better. Don't miss the themed dining nights. they were a real highlight! Perfect for family bonding.

It was just a nice choice for a short visit in Son Bou with good value. The kids loved the fresh pasta station at dinner, impressed by how they could customize their meals. For a quieter time, head to the beach early in the morning for a peaceful start to your day.

The Royal Son Bou seems perfectly tailored for families. The staff genuinely makes an effort to create a welcoming environment, especially in Kikoland, where my kids enjoyed a plethora of activities. The children's play area with its bouncy castle and soft play structures kept them entertained. The pools are fantastic. the kid's pool is shallow and has fun slides, giving parents a chance to relax nearby. I appreciated the fresh pasta station at dinner—definitely a highlight for the kids. We stayed in a One-Bedroom Apartment, which had good storage, but the layout felt cramped, especially with two active children. While the rooms were clean, the air conditioning seemed inadequate, making it hard to cool down at night. The access to the beach through the tunnel was convenient, but it would be nice if the beach area had more amenities. I encountered issues with flies around the dining area, which detracted from the meal experience. The evening entertainment was engaging, but could use more variety. I enjoyed our stay but found some aspects quite disappointing in terms of dining and room comfort.
